After vewing results in tonyplot I am sure something is wrong with the device structure but I am not sure what. I would really appreciate any help. Thank you. I have attached the device I created in Silvaco and drawing of my inteded device.

Perhaps, you should use athena to verify the doping profile under the electrods.
Hi, i should know about device specifications such as length, width and value of doping. i can not tell anything about your attached figure
Please place metal at your anode cathode contacts. Probably electrical simulation will work then properly
Check physical models also from some references, include FDTD method. I think you need more to ask.
You should deposit aluminum on the top of your cathode and anode and make sure that the electrode name and location are defined properly.
I do not think the problem because of Athena or Atlas, however you need to show us the script then we might find what the issue is.
