In addition, locating wind farms in offshore areas is a better solution compared to building analogous farms in onshore areas, as there are few terrestrial areas that are completely uninhabited and climatically and geographically suitable for building wind farms in these areas. It often happens that people do not want to have windmills of electricity plants next to them. Taking into account the growing demand for electricity, the need to develop renewable energy sources, diversification of energy sources in order to maintain a high level of energy security, building wind farms at sea is, in my opinion, a good solution. The development of renewable energy sources is determined by the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and is one of the key elements of the implementation of the sustainable development goals and the pro-environmental transformation of the classic economy into a sustainable, green circular economy.
