I just entered to the MorphoJ web site and it seems work correctly. (https://morphometrics.uk/MorphoJ_page.html). There exist distinct options depending if you are working with 2D or 3D structures and if you are interested in the landmarking process and/or in the statistial analysis process. I further recommend explore these two packages in R Geomorph (https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/geomorph/geomorph.pdf) and Morpho (https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/Morpho/Morpho.pdf). Both of them allow use 2D/3D data and have a lot of options to compute distinct statistics. If you are using 2D data MoprhoJ, Past (https://folk.uio.no/ohammer/past/) or the TPS series are good options (https://life.bio.sunysb.edu/ee/rohlf/software.html). If you are using 3D data there exists several options including Morphologika (https://sites.google.com/site/hymsfme/downloadmorphologica), Morpheus (https://morphlab.sc.fsu.edu/software/morpheus/index.html); Landmark editor (is no longer available but some people have the executable files including me). Despite there exist additional options the mentioned packages in R are very good options for your work. Hope this helps.

I also can recommend using R studio and the Geomorph and Morpho package. But I think the Landmark aquisition is not so good in R and it is only possible for 2D landmarks. You could use tpsdig (https://life.bio.sunysb.edu/morph/) alternativly, that worked very well for me. Another tool for morphometrics analysis is the EVANtoolbox ( https://www.evan-society.org/ ) were you can set 3D landmarks and also Semilandmarks, furthermore you can do a lot of statistical analysis were you don`t need syntax (it is a lot easier than in R), it is a very intuitive interface.

You are right Robin. R is not as good as other software for digitizing landmarks but Evantoolbox is not free and to my knowledge a bit expensive. Other good options are Avizo/Amira but are expensive. From my view IdavLandmark is the better freeware option and Avizo the best paid option. Cheers
