1. Does anyone know if JMP can be used to run a Monte Carlo Simulation for calculating the minimum sample size required for a structural equation model?
2. While using Daniel Soper’s sample size calculation tool (https://www.danielsoper.com/statcalc/calculator.aspx?id=89), is the "number of observed variables," equal to the number of indicators in the model, or is it equal to the number of indicators + the number of dependant variables?
3. In a model with 3 latent variables, 1 dependent variable, and 18 indicators, what would be the number of observed variables in Daniel Soper’s sample size calculation tool?

1. The JMP pro version supports a simulation module: https://www.jmp.com/support/help/en/15.2/index.shtml#page/jmp/simulate.shtml
2. Observed variables is just that: how many measured scores you have per case (it doesn't matter whether each is exclusively endogenous, exogenous, or swings both ways). If you're letting the SEM software compute factor/latent variable scores from your observed variables, these do not add to the count of observed variables. If you're entering factor scores as derived from other software or analysis, then they do count as observed scores (though you'll no longer be treating them as a latent variable as far as subsequent analysis goes).
3. Sounds like 19 to me, if the DV is observed.
