I have tried to isolate murine microglial cells from adults' spinal cords and brains using the protocol by Cardona et al. (2006) [http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17487181]. However, I failed - there have been no cells at the 37/70% Percoll interphase. Is anybody here experienced with any protocol based on Percoll gradients? Thanks a lot!
