Recently, many researchers are more concern with Q1/Q2/Q3/Q4 compared to impact factor. Thus, is it possible to know the indication of the Q.
From the basic information that was gain, Q indicates four quarters that make up the year: January, February and March (Q1); April, May and June (Q2); July, August and September (Q3); and October, November and December (Q4).
Hope someone can explain further regarding this matter and the importance of it. Thank you.

Was thinking that it could probably influence the researchers (Still new in this post) in Malaysia. Malaysia has key performance indicator (KPI). It will be evaluated from time to time. Thus, other researchers will be pressured to coop with this requirement. However, the quality of the study and impact factor should be more significant if the Q means the period of time.
