You can use the MATLAB for developing the image processing programs, analyzing the images and for decoding the material properties. ANSYS is suitable for the numerical simulation, provided you already have the material properties data. The custom FEM codes can also be developed in MATLAB for the analysis. I am grateful for your valuable explanation.

I am more interested to apply the direct mechanical properties which it is related to the microstructure (such as hardness, toughness, strength) to the porosity, density, grain size, grain shape, homogeneity and so on..

For sure, I will read digital image correlation (DIC) techniques as they are essential for more mechanical properties evaluation and selection of the right software to perform high quality research.

I may add artificial neural network to investigate these properties with the wide range of variation and increase the precision.

Matlab is very good for displaying graphs and some sort of programming but ANSYS has more options and the latest versions of ANSYS workbench gives you in depth details of stress analysis and heats transfer graphs of various parts or components.Also if your looking for 3D stress analysis ABAQUS and solidworks can help you do the task easier after you import you 3D model into the software.You can find the key differences in linkedin learning in a simpler way to understand a better clarity.

Hi Zhwan Sktani ,LinkedIn Premium includes LinkedIn learning which helps you learn very easily compared to youtube videos according to my knowledge. So if you want you can upgrade your account to it as it helps you learn stuff which is mostly not taught in colleges/universities with simplicity.As I am a fresher myself I find it very useful and should have used it for my Research projects had I known earlier.
