Hi all!

I'm a bioengineer venturing into molecular biology (dangerous, I know.) I'm planning to have a Luminex assay done soon. A core here offers fee-for-service--I give them my frozen cell culture supernatants, and they run the test (Magpix). I have never done Luminex before, and I'm hesitant to order an assay before I know what the data coming out of the assay is going to look like. Would anyone be willing to share some raw data you've obtained using this instrument? (You can disguise sample group names or analytes if you like). I can then practice my analysis and make sure I understand the technique before I drop $1500 on a plate.

Also, perhaps a silly question...I did ELISA years ago and vaguely remember measuring total protein with BSA first. Is that recommended for Luminex?

Thanks!
