Luminex 200 repeatedly fails calibration. Can anyone explain why CAL2 fails (The acquisition ran to sample empty)?

Hi All,

Our Luminex 200 sat unused for a few years. After many sanitise/wash/alcohol flush cycles, and repeated stringent cleaning cycles, CAL2 always fails (The acquisition ran to sample empty). It's the RP1(2) channel that doesn't reach the target of 16 921,45. A window also pops up which says "Calibration has failed. Please ensure that the correct reagent is in the proper well location..."

Because CAL2 fails, MagCon1 and Con2 then show an exclamation mark and "the acquisition was performed, but the detector was not in a calibrated state".

Can anyone help?
