Transfecting HEK 293A cells. I've done lipofectamine 2000 transfections with incubation times between >20 min, < 4 hrs and they worked well. According to manufacturer they should be stable for up to 6. However, no such indication is given for lipofectamine 3000. I was curios if anyone has tried longer complex incubations and had good transfection efficiencies.

From my experience with lipofectamine 3000, the longer you incubate, the higher the cell death (primary cell lines - OPCs). For immortal cell lines, I never saw such correlation and transfections were of similar efficiencies.
