Greetings dear scientific community,

Today I would like to ask a question which is partly related to my work.

I have been doing microscopy as part of my job for four years now, and I always had this question in my head but never tried to find an answer.

Indeed, I would like to read about your experience on how the length of a session using a microscope affects you: how long do you work at a time? how do you setup your microscope lamp? do you prefer LED lights or Halogen ones?

In my case, I would usually work for a maximum of 30 minutes before taking a break, give my eyes some rest and then go back for another session. Also, I use a HAL 100 (I also have LED lamps, but I don't use them) on 3.8V.

At the end of the day, I'm usually tired, and I would like to know if this is the same for you, or if I'm doing it wrong.

I look forward to read your experiences on this.

Best regards,

Yacine
