Follow the below instructions to isolate fungi from wood.

1. Prepare solid agar plate of SDA/PDA

2. Pick the myclium/fruiting body of fungi on wood by sterile forceps and keep it in the center of plate.

3. incubate at 26-30 degree C for 3-5 days.

You will prepare malt extract agar 2% plates and then transfer/ inoculate small piece of wood having fungi and incubate it at 20 to 250 C temperature. After 3 to 4 days fungus will grow on agar plate.
