Working with 3D gels and many cell types/donors at the same time implies that cells will need to wait for some hours (1-3) until they are seeded. The same happens with tissue isolations. Is it better to keep these cells (often in the form of pellets in a falcon tube) in ice/fridge, at room temperature, or in an incubator at 37ºC?

Macarena Lucia Fernandez Carro Literature and protocols are very contradictory in this regard. In general, I keep them at room temperature because it's the intermediate option. If you have any though ton it I would love to hear it!
