Dear colleagues, can you provide titles of journals that publish freely without any APC charges and that have a good academic reputation in the field of the Humanities. Thnx in advance.
If we dont have to face the native-like control of English, we have to face the problem of high APC charges. What a dilemma.

Also, here is a pretty sound list of highly regarded literary magazines, many of which publish literary criticism and even historical or political essays as well as fiction, poetry, and memoir. I don't think any of them charge page costs; many actually pay, though few pay much:
