Has anybody ever tried to use the iTOP (induced transduction by osmocytosis and propanebetaine) technology published by D’Astolfo et al. (Cell, 2015; https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25910214), for the intracellular delivery of DNA, specifically plasmids and eventually in combination with „packaging“ the DNA with lipofectamine?

Any information or experience regarding this issue will be highly appreciated.
