Hello, I have just prepared the cell media, consisting of DMEM/F12, 10% FBS, and 1% penicillin-streptomycin. However, I have noticed something in my media, and I have attached a video and photos of them.
Is this FBS debris in the media? That's why I thought of it because I was working on the clean bench when dealing with the elements that would go into the DMEM/F12.

You can sometimes get things floating about in your FBS. If you're worried about it, you can try filtering it
I often observed these kind of objects in media containing FBS.
Did you pipette a small sample of pure FBS on a plate and had a look?
According to Thermo Fisher there are 1000+ components in FBS, particially "unidentified constituents".(https://www.thermofisher.com/de/de/home/references/gibco-cell-culture-basics/cell-culture-environment/culture-media/fbs-basics.html)
Most FBS are already sterilefiltrated after production.
So if it's in the pure FBS, I wouldn't worry too much about it, but that's just my opinion :)
I would filter before using if you are worried, but be warned it can take a while.
I have seen this in FBS before though.
