The risk of the possible transmission of Echinococcus multilocularis to humans via forest berries contaminated with eggs from fox feces is mentioned in a vast amount of literature. But can anyone help me collect research studies actually finding eggs on berries, or even experimental studies indicating it is actually possible (or just a widespread belief)?
