Phytochrome system is involved in phenolic production. Is there any way to take advantage of this system to improve phenolic production in plants?
Dear Giridhar,
Greetings
1. Artificial LED lighting enhances growth characteristics like phytochrome sysytem which definitely enhance phenolic production like flavanoids.
2.Read Paper
An Overview of LEDs’ Effects on the Production of Bioactive Compounds and Crop Quality
or

3. You can isolate gene producing phenolic compounds or by cloning expressing in suitable host system you can enhance phenolics. But I will suggess you only 1 and 2 only.
With regards
using red coloured polysheet as mulch would benefit?
I wish to prepare peroxtesmo KO solution for studying stigma activity in plants. Kindly suggest how to prepare the solution.
