Thank you very much, Miguel, for this informative article. I had been looking up for the information but couldn't find much. There have been just a few reports of fig-associated braconid species

after doing a detailed study of the current species, it seems that the species neither matches Psenobolus nor Ficusbracon.

Well, correcting my previous comment, this actually is a Ficobracon sp. as confirmed by van Achterberg.
