Good afternoon! This is a great question... I actually get this question every once in awhile here at Phenomenex in my role as a Technical Consultant. The answer is: no.

The reality is, these two types of vitamins are very different structurally... although they share the 'vitamin' name. The water soluble vitamins behave very differently than the fat soluble vitamins, for apparent reasons.

There are some very good methods out there for doing these two types of analyses separately... for instance, please see attached file for fat soluble vitamins (I will also add a water soluble vitamin app shortly).
