GE healthcare company has stopped producing P81 phosphocellulose filter paper to separate the radio-labled substrates from the excess ATP. I wonder if there is any equivalence ion-exchange phosphocellulose paper or another method for separation of a short peptide from excess ATP.

Does anyone know of an alternative to this - EMD seem to have stopped stocking it too!

Ok. So now Reaction Biology Corp has stopped selling them too. Are there any alternatives left??
Millipore stopped making the paper alone and put it in a 96- and 384-well plate for use with a vacuum filtration device. They eventually stopped that too, but this was more recent and you can still find a lot of those plates around in unsold stock. The cat # was MAPN0Bxx where xx=10 for a bag of 10 plates or xx=50 for a bag of 50. That was superseded by #MSPHN6Bxx. Fisher still has those latter ones in stock. It doesn't have the word "phosphocellulose" in it which is why it evades searches for that term but that's what the material is.

Thanks for investigating this option. We are making phosphocellulose and have been selling to academic labs and industry for 2 years. It has been validated against 48 kinases using basic/acidic peptide, MBP and casein substrates.
