I notice that upon washing and air-drying of my RGO/SPCE surface and characterizing again via DPV, the current response towards ferricyanide probe significantly decreases. My worry is that the significant sensitivity increase effected to my modified electrode is lost as I proceed with my subsequent modification steps, e.g., MIP functionalization.

Any recommendations on how to improve the stability of my RGO film layer? I do one-step electrochemical deposition at acidic pH and then subsequent polymerization on its surface at near-neutral pH and finally wash this deposited film with acetic acid/SDS combination.

Thank you very much in advance for your helpful inputs.
