Hello! I'm currently working in a survey study that uses Kish tables to randomly select a participant to interview after enumerating every person in each occupied household. I recently got hired on this project, and my colleagues tell me that participant selection was done by hand using Kish tables. This is a very tedious task, since our sample consists of at least 4,000 subjects. It will take days. Before I ambark on the journey to try and automate this process, I would like to know if there is an app or program that could do this in a more efficient and timely manner. Any answer is helpful!

The discussion linked in the previous answer offers two possibilities:
- You could either load your kish tables in R and read the resulting nunbers automatically
- You could identify the rationale, that has been used in the kish table creation and use this rationale as function to come up with the correct number
