Measles virus attaches with protein H to the surface of cell, once this happens it gives signal to the fusion protein F, which becomes active and initiates virus entry into the cell by membrane fusion. Is there a virus or virus family that acts very similarly however at the end it enters cell not by cell fusion but by endocytosis? The key thing that should be present in virus is the signal transfer from attachment protein to the second protein that would become active and only then would initiate cell entry by endocytosis.
