we are a non-immunology laboratory yet we do want a straight forward, sophisticated method to characterize cells... FACS/flow cytometers are very pricy - so any recommendations and ideas for alternatives are helpful!
microscopy has other issues that we want to overcome. standardly, people use facs/cytometers to do so... but mostly for stem cells this harbors other troubles.
thanks regina, i have a look. btw also our agilent bioanalzyer 2100 has options to upgrade but they are expensive and not yet well established
I think the products of http://chemometec.com/ are doing a good job. But if you want to be 100% positive about your cells there is basically no alternative to FACS.
