I am looking for an IP3R agonist for intact cardiomyocytes.
Compounds like adenophostin A, or Gq-agonists (phenylephrine, endothelin) are unfortunately out of the question.
I would be very pleased about any hints and comments.
D-chiro-Inositol Ribophostin.
Gagandeep Singh Shergill Thank you very much for your comment!
I can only find publications in which D-chiro-Inositol Ribophostin was used in permeabilized cells.
Are you sure that it can also be used in intact cells?
Best wishes!
Have you looked at caged-IP3? or bt-IP3?
Sayeman Islam Niloy Thanks for your answer! Do you know how long the effect of these compounds lasts? I have read that you only achieve a very short-lasting effect with it (in the range of ms). Is that true?
