I am doing research on the application of (Active) Tuned Mass Dampers and Tuned Liquid Dampers in wind turbines. One of my interests is the cost of these two technologies, especially the manufacturing costs. I have found many articles suggesting differences in manufacturing costs between these two technologies but I fail to find concrete data.

The only two articles I have found disclosing concrete financial data are the following:

Tse, K.T., Kwok, K.C.S. & Tamura, Yukio. (2012). Performance and Cost Evaluation of a Smart Tuned Mass Damper for Suppressing Wind-Induced Lateral-Torsional Motion of Tall Structures. Journal of Structural Engineering. 138. 514-525. 10.1061/(ASCE)ST.1943-541X.0000486.

Katole, A. P., Potnis, S. C., & Pimplikar, S. S. (2016). Life cycle cost analysis of overhead water tank as a liquid damper.

I am looking for more articles with concrete financial data in order to have a more realistic view on the topic. I am also looking into the manufacturing techniques for both of these technologies. I hope some experts in the field can shed light on this topic.

Thanks in advance.
