Testing sensitivity to antibiotics may vary according to type of bacteria, type of antibiotic and the medium in which bacteria exists (saliva, gastric, etc)
you can do antibiotic sensitivity test for bacteria also with MIC test not only by discs and the results will be better than discs if you do it with microtiter plate
Isolate bacteria and use pure culture pick two to three colonies and put them in Muller Hinton broth until you reach 0.5 McFarland then separate it on Muller Hinton agar plate by sterile swab , put antibiotic discs like amoxicillin and Clindamycin ( Kirby Bauer disc diffusion method ) after incubation measure the diameter and you will know if the bacteria is resistant or susceptible from NCCLS guidelines
