Does the past legacy of colonialism and slavery in any way still affect black people in a negative or positive way. Could the past exploits of this still be in someway be adversely impacting mentally on many black people.

These chairs, according to scholars in the field, should include institutions and researchers in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean to support a deeper global understanding about one of the worst crimes in human history...
The Universities Studying Slavery - USS consortium consists of about 100 institutions of higher learning in the United States, Canada, Colombia, Scotland, Ireland and England, and aims to share best practices and guide principles as they engage in truth-telling educational projects focused on human bondage and the legacies of racism in their histories."
It seems a case of black people unable to do things for themselves. When other races want a critique of certain sensitive parts of their history. They seem quite competent to do that themselves and are in control of the narrative. UNESCO i am not sure about. In the sense of its affiliation with the united nations, who's latest toothless performance regarding the support for women and children being murdered.
