Potato dextrose agar often abbreviated as PDA. Most mycologists widely use it as a general-purpose medium for yeasts and molds that can be identified to some extent based on their morphological features and their pigmentation in culture often being important for identification of cultures. PDA thus aids in cultivating and differentiating pathogenic and non-pathogenic fungi.
Abdallah Rafeek I would not advice you to grow bacteria on PDA for several reasons. First, many plant pathogenic bacteria produce a lot of polysaccharides on PDA, and it is hard to control culture purity and get good cell suspension for DNA extraction or plant inoculation. Second, high dextrose content cause rapid acids accumulation and bacteria death. Third, bacteria's virulence often declines after several passages on PDA. It is more practical to use for bacteria YDC, King's B, V8, or other specific media.
Prof. Dr. Alex Ignatov If I have a known and pure strain of bacteria and not pathogenic bacteria that has been previously isolated on a specialized growth medium, can I perform enrichment on PDA medium?
Abdallah Rafeek yes, you can do it. But, if you intend to do biochemical experiments or physiological it is better to grow bacteria short time only (48h or some more depending on the species).

Abdallah Rafeek PDA is not suitable for proper bacterial growth; use recommended media like nutrient agar, tryptic soy agar, and brain heart infusion agar; and for isolation, use KB (King's B).
Amit Kumar Maurya I'm pleased to inform you that I have successfully enriched one of the bacterial strains on PDA medium and I obtained pure colonies after 24h. Here is an image of the results. However, I haven't examined them under the microscope yet.

You must have absolutely obtained, but that is only contamination. There will be some growth, but no proper growth. As per my knowledge, for experimental growth and development, always use the Nutrient Agar for bacterial studies.

The low pH of the medium will inhibit bacterial growth. Therefore, use other options.

I have not yet examined its growth on PDA. I do not have any other options for mediums that are less expensive than PDA
