I would like to assess in vitro the cytotoxic effect and possible Bruton kinase inhibition of a serries of organic compounds as potential therapeutics for the treatment of chronic lymphoblast leukemia.
Could I use K 562 cell line as a model? Could you suggest a more suitable cell model? Thank you!

Bruton tyrosine kinase (BTK) is a central hub in the B cell receptor pathway and strongly influences B cell maturation, differentiation, and proliferation. BTK plays an essential role in the pathogenesis of various B cell lymphomas. Inhibitors of BTK are an integral element in the treatment of Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL).
So, you may consider using Human Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL) cell line as a model for BTKi. MCL cell lines like REC-1, MINO, UPN-1, MAVER-1 and Z138 may be considered for your study.
