The protein was extracted from mouse tissue(brain)，marker is Thermo 26619.
The ladder was about in 25kd.And the antibody is BD Bioscience#asyn antibody.
I'm not sure if it was α-synuclein.

How much is the gel concentration and how long did you run it?
hi, I use 4%~12% gradient gel (Thermo),and it was run by 190V for 35min.

I do not think so - but I'm not in the field. If you take a look into data bases like uniprot.org It's a 140 aa protein. If you do an image search Alpha-synuclein western-blot you will find blots that show bands below 20 kDa.

They are showing beside the Alpha-synuclein another unspecific band with the size of yours.
It is a 14kDa protein, but runs a little higher on Western blots because it doesn't bind to SDS in an exact 1:1 ratio. On my blots, it is usually at around 18kDa.
