I have some DAB 10 mg tablets from Sigma (d-5905). I have diluted one tablet for IHQ and wish to store the remaining solution (approximately 10 ml) for later use. I was wondering if it is possible to freeze it and for how long is the chemical stable and safe to use.

Has anyone tried storing it with good results?
Just refrigerate it at 2-4 C. Check the purity before using it again by HPLC against a freshly prepared standard.

Hello, we use DAB for wholemount IHC staining of chicken embryos. I usually prepare a stock solution of DAB (10 mg tablet in 1-2 mL) and store it at -20C. I tried using it for over 6 months and it works well.
