Recently I have been trying to make protoplasts from isolated glandular trichomes. I did not succeed, and could not find any information regarding this subject in the literature
Does anyone have experience with this work and can share a protocol?

You can try any protocol describing the isolation of protoplast from callus or suspension cells which may give good results than leaf

It depends on the developmental stage of glandular trichome. GT are major sites of biosynthesis of secondary metabolites and stress proteins. Degeneration of protoplasm begins when they store secondary metabolites. Mostly protoplasm in GT can be localized at young stages. Cells of the young trichome contain a large nucleus with prominent nucleoli and few small cellular organelles. Prior to the secretory stage, numerous ribosomes, polyribosomes, and dictyosomes are present in a dense cytoplasm but most of the cell organells are lost as secretion commences.

Did you try it yourself? I tried different protocols that are working great for leaves and callus tissue, but they do not work for GT. I am mostly getting parts of the gland which are not viable cells.
Glandular trichomes are not good candidates for protoplast isolation. Better to initiate callus cultures from leaf cuttings and proceed for protoplast isolation.
Yes, definitely possible. Any living cell with active cytoplasm can become source for protoplast.
