Hello.

I want to study the secreted trichomes by transmission electron microscope, on plants ( Salvia verticillata, Stachys sylvatica, Clinopodium vulgare) but I don't know the way in which sections are made in the trichomes specifically. Is this done by isolating the trichomes, or is it done by making sections in the entire sample? the diameter of the secretory head of the trichomes ranges from 20 to 100 µm.

What is the correct way to make anatomical sections, please help. Thank you
