Hi, there. Is it possible to calculate the conductivity and complex refractive index of multi-layer (e.g., over 100 layers) graphene using the Kubo formula? Some reports show that the Kubo formula is only appropriate for monolayer or few-layer (less than 5 layers) graphene (Q. Bao et al., “Broadband graphene polarizer,” Nat. Photonics, vol. 5, no. 7, pp. 411–415, 2011; R. Hao e al, “Ultra-compact graphene-embedded optical phase modulators,” in Proc. 2014 31st URSI General Assembly Scientific Symp., Aug. 2014, pp. 1–4.). Does the multi-layer graphene become graphite?

Thanks.
