I wand to estimate antibody in serum by ELISA. In order to obtain clear serum, is it ok to spin serum at 7000 rpm (without refrigeration) for 5 minutes? Thank you in advance.
They are placed in the refrigerator overnight, then centrifuged at a speed of 10,000 rpm for half an hour, so the anti-serum is clarified well. It is so good for serological techniques such as ELISA.

I think speed is not really critical, as long as you can sediment the cells and get a clear supernatant. Missing refrigeration should not affect antibody titers and integrity. If lipids (a hazy zone floating atop) should be a problem, (transfer to a new tube and) extract with a little petrol ether, pentane, hexanes, naphtha or similar.
