Absolutely yes. Training students to write research paper and learn the basics of writing and punctuation is very crucial. In our college we have a subject in the third stage called "introduction to write research paper ". This leads them from the beginning of preliminary reading to the end of a research.
Training students in research is not just important but it is pivotal to teaching, especially, in this research- oriented era where equipping learners with research skills is an indispensable requirement.
yes it is essential. it would give them an insight into scientific research process, data collection, publications. in my department, we have subject in third year called 'introduction to research methods in which students have the basics of research. then, in fourth year they study research methods with more details. by graduation our students are able to conduct small studies and present their findings as part of the evaluation. the good students usually present their research in pre conference events locally.
My answer is yes. I always motivate my undergraduate students to integrate continuous education, and research to their future carriers. In addition, I always explain clearly the limitations, and validity of simplifications of the materials presented to them. This is for increasing their awareness about the position of their knowledge relative to the surrounding world.
It’s important and in addition to that motivation to research is also necessary. At the very beginning of research activity it is a prerequisite to acquire fundamental knowledge about research and research ethics. Proper training certainly helps to build strong research interests among young researcher/students.
Research, finding answers to the questions concerning a field of study, Is a very important foundational resource for helping students' learning improve . The reason is that knowing is consolidated by doing. By engaging students in research, we can help them see how theoretical issues are actualized in real world.
Every PG and Ph D student must learn at first the basic subjects related with every research. They should also be trained the procedure of synopsis, thesis and article writing.
Of course yes.Our students in the final year conducted a research included in a subject called "graduation project" where they learned how to conduct afield experiment to solute a problem and how to gather data in the field and put an experimental design, statistical analysis , means compare according to a statistical programs, references collection and finally write the graduation research which subjected to evaluation by three teachers .
Learning at higher level has two aspects, first, to get job i.e. encashing of knowledge acquired and second, two generate knowledge out of the knowledge gained or acquired at the time of learning process for further development, in the interest of welfare of world-beings. The second aspect requires research bent of mind who needs training regarding conduct of research and report writing. There should not be any binding on who should carry-out research; it should be open to all and must have public forum/organisation/platform. In case of colleges and universities, research methodology must be a compulsory paper with project-work irrespective of faculty/stream of learning.
connducting research experiments and writing research articles are two different things. I believe student must need to learn both skills. Testing skills are important. Writing paper is kind of art. How you can present your work on paper so that reader can easily understand and also it look attractive.
