Both extreme weather events(floods ,dryness, and storms) and climate change(global warming) are related and have a numerous impacts on agriculture and food system which are directly reflected in food availability. Global warming causes rise of sea- level and acceleration of glacial melt which influencing the environment and agriculture. Yields of traditional crops may be affected by climate change.
Climate change -- Temperature, rainfall pattern, seasonal variation will be changed-- Crop cultivation will be drastically affected -- Bio-diversity will be affected - Natural calamities will be increased both in number and amplitude -- All will affect drastically on human civilisation of the concerned and surroundings.
Food security depends mainly on the interrelationship between political, economic and social stability, technological progress, increasing per capita incomes, poverty reduction, trade and climate change. Climate change is therefore one of the factors, not the only major factor, as it can affect the availability of food production , through changes in temperature and precipitation; and the ability of people to access food.
