I am preparing a sample for MS analysis from IP. I am going to use TEAB 50 mM as washing buffer. The sample will be then run on a gel and the bands cut out. Given that the pH of such buffer is around 9.5 I am afraid this can block or impede the binding between my protein of interest and its antibody or, at least, the binding of co-immunoprecipitating proteins.
