Is anyone aware of tDCS studies comparing tolerability of different devices. Eg. Soterix vs Neurocon vs other devices? I've heard researchers who have used multiple devices talk about this anecdotally. It seems the general assumption / consensus is that the device should not majorly change the safety or tolerability of tDCS but I'm curious is this has ever been systematically evaluated? I'm sure it's possible that some devices use electrodes or materials that could be higher grade and therefore safer than another device for instance... but in principle I accept that all the devices mostly do the same thing.
