Siddharth Kadam There are tons of rice papers published using those genomic editing tools you listed. However, I have not encountered a 'registered' new rice variety developed through genome editors. But, I bet some researchers are applying for 'patents' or 'new variety protection' for their plants (or 'variety') developed through genome editors, once their field trials meet expectation.

You are right!! I totally forgot that one.

No, I take it back. Golden rice was not developed through ZFN, TALEN or CRISPR. It was developed through conventional genetic transformation method to place several beta-carotene synthesis genes into the rice.

Yes, it is recombinant. It was developed before 'Genome Editing' era.

By the way, how do you hold up during this 'lockdown' period? Still have a lot of vacuum-packed beef left? I think people are calming a little. I just came back from Walmart. The place is pretty well stocked now.

Thanks for the info. I have make my own oriental scallion pancake (1), not bagels. Scallion pancake is similar to Indian Naan, but with a few vegetable oil, salt and scallion inside. I would like to try bagel one of these days.
