IP beads for mass spec. Can i freeze the beads?

I need to submit some IP protein G beads for mass spec analysis. However, the mass spec has decided to be not available.

Can I freeze the IP beads at -20C ready for the mass spec? If not, what is the best way to store the IP beads ready for mass spec?

(I don't usually do the elution step as I submit the samples for someone else to do!)
