Hi,

I am currently working on a onco project with 4T1 breast cancer cells injected subcuteanously in mice and treated with a compound intratumorally. On the first experiment, we started the treatment with 50µl (VT ~100 mm3) and we noticed a quick necrosis on almost all our animals including the vehicle group. Then we decided to onject lower volume (30 µl) but necrosis was already established and our data were not satisfactory.

So my questions are: is there a max volume of administration to inject intratumorally?

- How to avoid/reduce necrosis in this case.

Many thanks for sharing your experience with me.

Sabrina
