I would like to ask a question regarding the use of sxy as my input for dynamic loading. When using sxy, I need to calculate its value first (as a multiplier for the dynamic loading) using the provided formula by FLAC. I attempted to apply a sinusoidal wave as the input at the base of the model.

After running the simulation, I compared the manually defined sinusoidal input with the simulation output (specifically, the velocity at j=1, base of the model). However, the results were significantly different — the output velocity at j=1 was much smaller than expected, compared to the original sinusoidal wave I intended to apply.

My question is: Do I need to modify the value of sxy so that the theoretical input wave matches the simulated velocity output wave?
