I can suggest one thing as I have tried this when I was getting much background. Take 3 third instar larvae, open them up and add them to the buffer in which you make your antibody dilution. I used TBST so I made 5%milk in TBST, used 1 ml of that and added the opened third instar larvae to that. Now if you are using 1:10,000 as your antibody concentration add 1 microlitre of that antibody directly to the 1ml solution containing opened larvae. Keep this at 4degC o/n with constant vortexing. Next day do a quick spin and suck the solution and use that for your immunoblot procedure. Hope this helps.
I have had a lot of success with Rb a-HA mAb from Cell Signaling (link below). Otherwise, the pre absorption protocol Mayank suggested would be a suitable alternative-- although, I preabsorb using embyros.
