I am a student trying to design an experiment for her first internship.

My supervisor wants me to use fNIRS to look into cortical activation patterns using a dual-task paradigm for both: hands and feet. The background literature gives many controversial results about the areas to use. I am wondering if anyone can have any insight into that? What would be the areas possibly measurable by fNIRS cap for such a purpose?
