Which planet is at the center was seed axiom for the evolution of geocentric paradigm for centuries. Changing the answer to this question about 500 years ago was seed axiom for evolution of competing heliocentric paradigm (which eventually replaced then deeply entrenched geocentric paradigm, where the geocentric paradigm was supported by countless observations and explanations resulting from effort of thousands of researchers spanning more than 1000 years)?
How can one force research community to validate unsubstantiated seed concepts (i.e. seed axiomatic assumptions) of a deeply entrenched paradigm to make sure the seed axioms are error free, if the paradigm has been evolving for many decades and resulted from the effort of tens of thousands of researchers at any time during the many decades?
It is certainly very complex but is it possible even in the 21st century in the age of Internet and global connectivity (since most people suffering from information overload and its result of little attention span and demanding instant proof)?
