This depend on your article or research you can choose a brief article or short research to published in his journal ,

and depend on your relationship with him if you have a deep relationship with a chief editor , he deserve help ,but you supposed to be one of his editors in the future.

Sorry about misunderstand, i thought specialist article for journal volume and num.

It maybe for the quality of the work and it's volume . It maybe due to the aim of author to publish in big journal that can increase his citations. It maybe due to the influence of the co-authors which have their personal idea about tittle journal.

Good journals normally don't solicit from authors.

No problem but with full respect to publishing copyrights.

Why not, If it is new and not a predatory journal.

I would like to send an article and will help that journal to launch it if possible.

Dear colleagues, the new journals (no predator) have problems collecting papers and they are trying all the methods to survive. The authors do not know this suffering to survive because they want published in the big journals. Where is my question

It is important to encourage more and more journals since number of researchers are growing.

However, editorial board need to maintain quality of publications.

New authors have a problem for published and new journals have a problem to have authors. that's the problem and that's my question.
