I am making a slurry (using mortar and pestle) of AC, AB and PVDF in the mass ratio of 8:1:1. I paste the slurry on a pre-treated nickel foam by putting the nickel foam in the mortar and then moving the nickel foam around so that the slurry is attached to the nickel foam. Then, i turn the nickel foam and repeat the procedure. But this method results in high mass loading (20-25 mg/cm2) which greatly reduces the capacitance performance. Please guide how can i achieve thinner loadings?
